Smart campervan Ganesh is built on a Citroen Jumpy van. This is a more spacious campervan than Marco Polo or Mozart, yet still a compact custom-made campervan with the feeling of a Norwegian cabin. It comes with a lot of great details that were very well thought out during the rebuilding process in Covid times. One of the best things about Ganesh is its home cinema with canvas, speaker and USB full of movies!
Just like all our campervans, Ganesh’s home is in Sandefjord town, 15 minutes from Torp Airport and 1,5 hours from Oslo. Those three locations are the locations where we deliver the campervans, personally to you. Both Sandefjord and Oslo are great starting points to embark on an unforgettable road trip in Norway.
This campervan is a custom-made one, ready for any weather conditions. The camping part of the car is very well insulated with sheep wool and covered with oak wood. Because in Norway you never know if July will be 25 or 5 degrees, a powerful parking heater comes in handy. Too hot? Besides passive ventilation in the roof window, you can open it and get in some fresh arctic air.
The bed in Ganesh is a foldable one, very easy to set up. Sleeping bags follow in the campervan, together with pillows, sheets and bedding. While the bed is not in use, it works as a sofa. You can put a camping table inside, play table games or enjoy a nice dinner.
Speaking of dinner, this campervan comes with an indoor kitchen with plenty of space in the cupboards. There is a portable gas stove that can be used wherever you put it. You will get several gas cartridges (230g) included, depending on the length of your trip. The kitchen is equipped with all utensils you might need for camping cooking. There is no tap running water, but you can do your dishes in a foldable sink. The freshwater tank is 30 l big. To keep your groceries cool, a compressor fridge can run on during your whole trip.
The fridge and all electric devices such as lights, USB outlets, home cinema and a diesel heater are powered by a leisure battery that charges while driving. You can charge your devices by plugging them into USB ports or you can add a voltage converter to your campervan rental and charge at 220 V while driving.
For the driving part of your journey, Ganesh has 3 front seats, with possibility to turn off an airbag on the passengers side. There are many storage compartments in the cab, a CD player, Bluetooth and just as in all of our campervans a phone holder. It is a six-gears manual transmission vehicle and runs on diesel.
